Extensive experience from Statoil, where she held a number of senior management positions in the fields of economics, analysis, finance and strategy. She also has eight years of experience from the banking and financial sector.
The department is responsible for financial management of Petoro’s activities and the SDFI. That includes the preparation of accounts and budgets for the SDFI and Petoro AS. It follows up budgets in relation to performance targets and appropriations for Petoro and the SDFI portfolio. The department prepares forecasts, undertakes profitability calculations ahead of investment decisions, handles risk management and conducts internal audit activities.
Petoro is concerned to ensure that it has efficient systems for managing its business. Good management models will help to maximise value creation for the government. They must meet the official requirements specified in government regulations for accounting and financial management, as well as the provisions for governance on the NCS which are specified in agreements. The department’s responsibilities also cover commercial negotiations related to phasing-in new projects with existing infrastructure on the NCS.
