Vice president legal affairs:
Olav Boye Sivertsen has a law degree from the University of Oslo. Before joining Petoro, he was with the legal department at ExxonMobil and had previously been head of legal affairs at Mobil in Norway. Earlier employers include the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, the Ministry of Local Government and Labour, and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
He has international experience from Mobil's US operations, and has served in a number of capacities with the Norwegian Oil Industry Association (OLF).
"The department is responsible for legal issues and advice, and is involved in a number of matters and assessments relating to Petoro's activities in production licences and partnerships. Its head also serves as secretary to the board."
